I love this blanket pattern! I wish the yarn needed to make it wasnt so expensive. I will have to get a few skeins at a time, so I can make this. Maybe I will get lucky and there will be a sale! I will also have to look at the colors available, to see which ones I want to use together.

What an interesting technique on this Bernat Blanket yarn afghan. I see that someone else had shared her pictures of her finished piece! It looks amazing in the black, white, and gray! It almost looks similar to the spike stitch, in my opinion.

If I want to make this wider, do I add on in groups of 3 or doesn't it matter? Thanks!

I always love projects that I can extend to any size I like and this is just one of those. The colors in the pattern photo were perfect for us and it was such a pleasure to make. I also added a small border which gave it a lovely finish and, as I type this, our teenage son is tucked up under it on the sofa studying for his upcoming college assessments.

Great pattern especially with chunky yarn. I really like the contrast and stitch!

I love this! I've been wanting to expand my stitch knowledge and I've always thought that the larksfoot stitch was so beautiful. And looking at this pattern? OMG the instructions are so simple to follow! Definite no-brainer stuff. And for a girl who is just now coming out on the other side of the flu, this is perfect. It's so easy to follow and the best part is that it ends up looking much more complicated than it actually is.
