I found this to be easy and beautiful when it was done. Gave it to my granddaughter and she loved it. My daughter wants one now but different colors. It is a unique pattern.

This is stunning! I'm new to crochet, but saving this to try to make when I get more comfortable with my skills!

I love this pattern. I find it fairly easy to do. My only question is how can I make it larger about the size of a full size bed?

I have been crocheting for about 40 years and I consider myself an advanced beginner. There was something with this pattern that just did not click in my brain and I kept having to rip out sections and try again. The finished product was lovely, but this was not easy for me to understand.

I love this pattern. I made it and after a few rough spots I got the hang of it. I'll be making more of them.

Pattern comes up as a blank page. My Java settings maybe?

It took a while to open the PDF file on my computer. The link to the PDF is Hope this helps. Here is a tutorial to make this on you tube......

Whoops - meant to post this to comment above...

This afghan is totally awesome. Made one and 'got the hang' of it and have started four more. All different color combos. SO much fun. Going to try and make it into a Prayer Shawl. Love the symmetry. Have a friend who is going to make it queen-sized. I have been figuring out how that could be done. Thanks for putting the pattern out here.

I have watched the videos but am unable to get the written pattern. Please help!

Just finished this beautiful pattern, made as shown. You Tube videos were invaluable. Thanks for a very understandable tutorials. I like the darker color as the predominate as shown in the video better.

Awesome pattern, going to try this pattern

I am always looking for "placemat" patterens as I've been asked if I could make placemats. I think this just might work for a placemat using a smaller hook and a different product. I'll let you know if it works.

I think this is beautiful. It would look good in other colors as well... thank you something challenging for me to tackle... :-)

What a spectacular looking afghan! I'm a very experienced crocheter, but just reading the pattern, I'm a bit confused. After making the initial granny square, I am not sure which 4 shells are to be skipped and can't quite tell from the photo from where to count. I can usually crochet "in my head" and "get" it, but this one eludes me. Appreciate any feedback to clarify.

I have made this and what helped me is that she has several step by step videos on youtube. If you search on bethintx1 - drop in the pond - you will find these wonderful videos. The printed directions seem hard until you view these videos - then it is a piece of cake! Made two blankets within a month of viewing.

Is it possible to have the graph of this pattern?

I made this in pastels. The pattern intrigued me and I enjoyed the challenge of crocheting as a baby afghan.

This is an amazing variation on a granny afghan. Beautiful and so many color combinations possible

I just wanted to let you know that the pattern for Diamond Pond Afghan, is beautiful. I have never left a comment before. I am looking forward to crocheting this one. Thank you for awsome pattern!
