The instruction to make the headband is no longer available. I wanted to see if I could work through the issues in the instructions to make the headband. Hopeful the creator is revising the instructions. I would still like to make this headband.

I made my first one with no problem, the second one however, I had to rip out and start over close to a dozen times. It could have been that I was using a thinner and darker color yarn the second time. Vanna's Choice yarn works well for this project. It is very important to keep the chain from twisting when joining it, otherwise it is very frustrating. I enjoyed this project and it works up fast once you get going.

I also have trouble crocheting this headband! Don't understand the abbreviations! Please help. Marietjie

I used this pattern for the second mobius I made which I featured in I so enjoyed it that I made another one... my third mobius!

Tangles again: If you're having trouble getting this, go onto UTube & search for Mobius Twist videos. It took 3 of us, but we finally saw the light & are happily doing these!

I, too, have crocheted for years, but couldn't understand the twist part. Tried to access the video, but it wasn't available. Tangles

I think the headband is darling, but the directions are terribly confusing -- and I have been crocheting (and knitting) for decades. Too bad -- I would very much like to make this terrific-looking headband. (E.g.: what does it mean to work the stitch in the opposite side of the chain? Never says to work a stitch in both.)

Minner77, I agree with you that directions are a bit confusing. I tried making it and, since it says not to twist the chain, I worked the stitches in the back bump of the chain. It may work better to make a scfc (single crochet foundation chain) and work in the chains created by the fc on the bottom. Hope this helps!

I was curious about this too. I went to the page, and scrolled through the posts. The pattern designer posted a link to how this stitch is done for this pattern: . Now, I've never done any Moebius stitch patterns before, so this video made me understand it when the directions just confused me.
