Lord's Prayer

Use this free crochet pattern to create a tablecloth or wall hanging of the Lord's Prayer. This would be a nice thing to have around the house during the holidays if not all year round, and is a constant reminder of why we celebrate. It's an advanced crochet project that uses filet crochet, but will be completely worth it once you are done. The beautiful sentiment will look lovely in your home every single day.

The pattern makes no sense. Can someone explain it to me?

I was also confused about this but did a bit of searching and discovered that this pattern technique is called "Filet Crochet" and is actually very easy to follow. (This is the site that I checked out.) http://www.crochetme.com/blogs/how_to_crochet/arch == ive/2012/04/30/how-to-read-filet-crochet-charts.as == px Hope this helps! *Note to ALLFREECROCHET* It would be helpful if it was noted in the description that the pattern is a filet crochet and possibly a link to an explanation of how to. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, Member 5455217! We'll be sure to update the pattern :) --Editors of AllFreeCrochet

I don't understand this pattern at all, but would love to make it. Am I making the entire "chart" from yarn? I just follow the picture?? .... at a loss----

I had no trouble opening the file, printing it out and starting the project. Sorry to hear that some of you had trouble with it.

This is for "munchkinpj" the chain 9 equals the 3 across the bottom, a double crochet and the next 3 for the start of the second row. It really doesn't make a space any larger than it would be in the regular part of the pattern. Hope that makes sense.

I love this!!! Had to download the entire webpage to get it. Thanks

After you get all the chain stitches done do you really start from the 9th chain from the hook? That seems like a really big open mesh square.

http://www.angelfire.com/art2/imagegreations/free4.htm is the web address where you can see the pattern and print it from your computer. I hope this helps. But it is a very large project.

I love the picture and my wife desperately wants to try this pattern, but we can't figure out how to download or buy it. Can you help us? it will be for our church. I tried the maxine48@clear.lakes.com email and got a null address response. Please help!

It is called a scam. It was virtually impossible to be able to post this reply. As you say there is no response to any inquiries. And you are prevented from printing a pattern that is useable.

I was able to print this pattern out for myself and if you would like a copy I'll email it to you but need your email address. My email address is: daghilt@yahoo.com I crocheted a very large Lords Prayer many years ago and it is framed. It's about 4ft x 5ft. It is large but we love it. Hope this helps you.

Were you able to get this? I would love to get the instructions.
