I love to give gifts for all occasions and instead of placing the gift in store bought bags or boxes I like to gift in an article that can be reused. I love this bag because it has a handle so the recipient can find other uses for this. And with it not being too big, you don't have to spend a lot of money to fill it up either, lol.

I did not know were rem loops were until I read over the directions for this festive peppermint gift bag. I googled and found some helpful videos. So if you are struggling with the start of this pattern like I was, there is hope out there. It is not hard to do.

As happens way too often on the initial posting, the usual photo at the top of the post has failed to appear and the tiny thumbnail at the bottom isnt enough to see any details. I generally have to try hunting down the original pattern (from Yarnspirations this time) in order to see what the project actually looks like. If this happens to you, its called Lily Sugar n Cream Striped Gift Bag.

This might be the kind of fun and (fairly) quick to complete Christmas themed project that I have been looking for! It appears pretty sizeable, too. It was a little tricky to find the picture. But it is just what I expected it to be. Roomy enough to put a few gifts inside! Equally as nice is to use this in the home and fill with those scented pinecones.
