Crocheted Thread Wreath

Make a Crocheted Thread Wreath for the holidays this year. It's just the right size to hang on your door or use as a gift topper. It's so dainty it would also look cute hanging from the tree branches outside your home. Add a few white lights and some garland for a nice decorative piece that is such a lovely addition to your homemade Christmas decorations.

I love this delicate wreath, especially how it works up as an oval shape. I generally stay away from crochet thread projects due to eyesight and dexterity issues, but the project saw me dusting off the old steel hook once again. This would be nice as a hanging photo frame ornament as well as a gift tag for any occasion. Just change the color!

Very inspiring idea. I saw it, clicked on past it and then an idea struck me. Or maybe the morning coffee finally kicked in. I like the idea of using them on packages as the same old bows gets old. But what if you took old photos of family and friends and cut out just the faces and glued them in the center hole? Just use a piece of card stock to glue the picture on first. E6000 glue will adhere to the thread. And as far as that goes, you could use anything in the middles. Christmas sayings, words like Joy, Peace, etc.
