What a good craft fair item. You are able to make many, many of these adorable classic looking Christmas wreath ornaments and stretch your craft dollar further. This is a multi-dimensional DIY craft. It's got a little bit of everything! Make it modern by using a non-traditional thread color for the wreath, like a pink with a silver bow.

A great little beginner project using crochet thread instead of yarn. Crochet thread is a little harder to work with, in my opinion, because it is not as thick as regular yarn and it is harder to hold on to and doesnt really keep a consistently tight stitch. Well, those are my findings your results with vary.

An excellent beginner project for anyone interested in working with thread. By looking at the picture I did not know that thread was used so the finished projects are probably fairly small. Is it really necessary to use the fabric stiffener?

I think the fabric stiffener is just a guideline based on your preference. I am not going to use it on mine.

i cannot find the pattern no matter what! the wreath however is lovely!

Hi biscott, Thanks for letting us know! I've updated the link above so that it now takes you to the pattern. Thanks! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

I see it isn't working but this is easy enough to come up with, just make a chain of about 30 and then go back and do double crochets in each one. Finish off. Take a piece of wire, about an 18 or 20 gauge and measure off about 8". Weave the crochet onto it, in a folding pattern and close the wire, forming a hanging loop. Slide the yarn around until the wreath looks full. Add bells, a pretty red bow, etc.

What a shame, this pattern's site is not working!! It says to check back at another time for the pattern.

Hi sweetrose, Thank you for bringing this to our attention - it looks like the blogger's website isn't functional at this time so we will be removing this pattern from our site. We're sorry for the inconvenience! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

HI My name is Teresa and I was reading your instruction for the pattern for the christmas wreath and the 1st part of it did not make any since the instructions were confusing aster you make the chain and join it what did you mean on the 60 stitches are you supposed to do it in each stich, that is not the way it reads, maybe i am not reading it right, if you can email me with the clear instructions that would be Great . Thank you Teresa teresaersery@yahoo.com I like the project but cant understand the instructions

I tried to click on "Christmas ornaments" - it brought me back to the picture of the wreath but without instructions. I'm probably still just missing what you are talking about.

@childbri 7167963, The pattern can be found by first clicking on the link that says "click here for crochet pattern." You will then be directed to the original pattern designer's site. From there, please click on the link in the text that says "Christmas ornaments" in the first sentence, and you will then be directed to the full pattern instructions.
