when wearing the scarf, the Bear 's head will be upside down as I see it. What about that? the cupcake scarf and others all have the decorations up the other way so they are right side up when tied on your neck.. can you explain to me? I have the yarn to make the BEAR Scarf. Pat Wardlow

I've made 7 of these now - the kids love them! I've made the size in the picture and then several that are longer (for 8 yr olds) so I had a start chain of 110. Then I made one into a kitten (check it out on Ravelry) and it's cute, too. Great fun pattern. I'm going to make some more to keep in my "gift stash". The two skeins make several of these scarves.

Not as confused but another question. working on the head round 3 it doesn't tell you what stitch to use. It says working in back loops only. Join with a sl st. (30 sts). What stitch do we use. Slip stitch. Thanks in advance. Bye the way the body worked out beautifully and all ends of that tucked in nicely. Figured out the neck.
