If you're looking for a beautiful crochet pattern to wear in the winter then this Over Sized Olive Jacket is the pattern for you. You can wear bulky long sleeved shirts under this jacket for added warmth. It's great for going out or lounging around. You need to know double crochet and single crochet to make this jacket.

I made this for my great niece for Christmas in a denim blue (had tiny white flecks like denim). So cute... her mother "stole" it almost immediately. Perhaps I can crochet a lock next time... LOL

I'd use variegated shades of purple.

I would love this in a pale blue or off white

Hello Fellow Crafters, This would look lovely in a mustard color, for the fall.

You could probably save a bit on the yarn for this by shopping at the Spinrite Yarn Factory Outlet's e-tent. They might or might not have the VH Sheepish in stock at any particular time, but they would surely have something in a similar weight, gauge & even fiber composition from one of the Spinrite family of brands (Bernat/Caron/Patons/Phentex) there. The pattern reminds me a bit of a shrug I made late this spring from 2 "granny hexagons" (the project page is up on Ravelry), but perhaps with a bit more shaping.

I think this would look fantastic in the Plumish

Hi everyone, We've updated the pattern link. Thanks for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience, --editors of AllFreeCrochet

I found the pattern. It's almost at the end of free patterns. :D

Unable to locate pattern for: Over Sized Olive Jacket By: Vickie Howell for Caron

can't bring up the pattern

I can't get the pattern. The link goes to the Caron website and when I typed in the title, it said nothing matched. Can you please fix this problem?

how do I get a printable pattern for this awesome jacket????

i can not find the pattern for the over sized olive jacket, your link is a run around

I love this sight, I have not had any trouble so far with the patterns I have used so far thank you to all who put them on here.

I would use amber as a bright pop of colour to set off my tan or between season darker tones .

I'm thinking New Year's Eve ...or any other holiday ... cover up. so how about gold? H

I think I would make this jacket in a off white or beige. To make it a little more versatile.

The link has been edited and you can now see the pattern. Thanks, AllFreeCrochet

I cannot access the pattern:(

I think you need to allow one to access the pattern

She isn't with Caron yarns anymore. She is now with Bernat yarns. If you go to her blog or it is called Penny Arcade Jacket. If you click on it it will take you to a free download on Ravelry

I think where is the pattern?

I agree with "yourdestiny0001"...... where the heck is the pattern?

The pattern does not just takes you to the bernat website.

I wish you would give us patterns that are more practical. I understand that it must be difficult to keep coming up with more and more patterns but I've never seen anyone walking around in something like this. I would be afraid to wear it.
