This bookmark would be the perfect gift for any avid readers you may have on your list. I love making granny squares, and this would be the perfect addition to my pile of granny square patterns! I am somewhat inexperienced at blocking, but I have faith in YouTube to help me through.

Isnt it amazing how the humble granny square never seems to go out of fashion? The easy to work directions for a rectangular version are followed by some photos to help illustrate the steps. The directions call for #10 crochet thread, but any thin fingering yarn would work as well. I have some tinseled Christmas yarn left over from other projectsI think I might try that out.

I like this bookmark crochet pattern but i got stuck in round 1 where it says In ch-5 space at the end of the base row, etc... Can u let me lnow what i actually i have to do and how many clusters should i have done before statring to do this. Thanks.
