James C Brett Chunky Marble Yarn

My absolute favorite yarn right now is James C Brett – Chunky Marble Yarn. When I say I love it… picture me on a cliff screaming! “I LOVE IT!” I rarely do testimonials on yarn but after working with 1 ball of this fabulous ball of pure joy, I was in crochet ecstasy!!! This yarn isn’t the cheapest on the market which is a deterrent to a thrifty shopper like me; However, the 16 Shades of colors to choose are something your eyes will be drawn to. You know that whatever you create with this yarn will be stunning.

FEEL IT:
So soft it’s like your hands have just received the most soothing massage of yarn making you want to smile with each passing row. Your project will be so soft you just want to caress yourself in it’s magnificence and you may change your mind to give away the project and just keep it for yourself.

SEE IT:
The colors take a very long time to transition through the marble coloring scheme. This is not one of those variegated types of yarn that transitions within inches… I am talking several feet of yarn as the materials slowly moves the colour palette. (OOOH I am getting chills talking about this cause I love it so much!) The slowness of the color change provides unique one of a kind looks for your projects because the yarn color is unpredictable at certain areas of the project.

DECIDE:
The price is the biggest deterrent of this yarn. Being super cheap as I am… I stretched for one ball just to play with it. I wish I had bought more. However, once you start working with it… the dollar signs fall from your eyes and a creative emergence within excites imagination. You get anxious as the colors slowly transitions just to see how your project will evolve to.

PROJECTS:
Use this safely with baby crochet projects. It is so soft your baby isn’t going to be irritated by anything scratchy on it. You could make several items such as hats and each hat will have it’s own look to it because of the slow transition of colors.

TREAT YOURSELF:
I dare you to try it. It’s like… hmmm Well Try it… It was the yarn that moved me and I yearn for more when the ball ran out.
