When I first spotted this project, I actually thought it used recycled Slushee cups. The designer provides easy to follow directions, and carries the dropped yarn as the vertical stripes of the cup are formed. She has photos for this step, so the crafter can see exactly what to do. The Slushee part of the project is made separately and sewn on to the cup. What a fun little project! Cant wait to show this one to my teens.

Saving this pattern right now! I cannot believe how adorable these Slushee cup drawstring bags are! She comes up with the cutest candy colored foodie projects. I love it! If I took this to the pool I know I would get so many compliments and looks from the other swimmers. I am a middle aged female, but I would STILL use this myself! Thank you for this pattern! Also, I really like the Impeccable yarns. The colors are great -)

Oh, how cute are these Slushee Cup Crochet Drawstring Bags.. I so have to make them. I remember as a small kid that my mom took a small butter tub and made me a crocheted purse our of it, but didn't crochet over the tub part. I loved it and this pattern reminds me of my youth. I will be adding the small buckets as suggested and and adding the straw. This patter is very well written and a easy read with great pictures to help. I think the grand kids will love these bags. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
