This is awesome! I love that you can make the whole thing with just one ball of yarn, even if it is small. I wish my kids were young enough that they would enjoy these, because this lion is just too cute not to make! I will have to order the yarn and get working on one. Maybe Ill just keep it for myself!

This is the perfect project for a Beginner because you dont have to deal with any actual amigurumi. If Baby already has a favorite toy, you could just work up the project and attach it around the toys neck (think big skirt). This would also be a great way to repurpose a damaged but still loved toy. Just make sure any features (eyes, nose, etc) are safe for babies!
