After granny squares, chevrons or ripples are my favorite. They give a lot of design element without a lot of effort. I recently saw a post for a purple baby blanket so I am learning toward a purple color for this chevron baby blanket. Thanks for sharing the pattern for free.

This is definitely the perfect blanket for baby girl but by switching the pink out for blue or green this would easily be the perfect blanket for a baby boy. The Chevron pattern gives it a whole level of design element that will make it just that much more special.

how many skeins of yarn does it take to make this baby afghan? Chevron pretty in pink.

Hi imbingocrazee, That's a great question! My suggestion would be to click through to the blogger's pattern on their website and ask the blogger herself how many skeins she used. For most afghans, the size is up to you so you can make it as long as or as short as you want, as long as you keep following the pattern. I hope that helps! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

This is another addition to my collection of baby blanket patterns. I've pinned this just like the rest of my collections. Here's the link to the pattern http//www.craftown.com/Pretty-in-Pink-Chevron-Blan == kie.html

I would like the pattern for the pictured blanket! This is definitely not it. This looks like it would be dc and chains. Please let me know where to go for this one. Thank you.

If you click on the link that says "Click here for free pattern," you'll be taken to the original designer's page that hosts the free pattern. If you scroll down a bit on that page, past the photo, you'll see the pattern text. Thank you! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

It looks like there should be some chains in rows between but pattern has no chains listed. I tried this pattern and it does not look like photo and I am an experienced crocheter. I feel like something is wrong. Love the look of this afghan.

How much yarn is needed for the pretty n pink chevron baby blanket?
