"This whimsical blanket is made by combining my Windy Square and Pinwheel Square patterns with 2 different joining techniques and a simple striped border. The puff stitches, cables, Jacobs ladders, and 3D pinwheels add lots of texture for baby to play with, while the back side of the blanket is smooth against babys skin. Its made with Anne Geddes Baby yarn and comes out really soft and squishy. This yarn comes in whole range of colors, and the pattern includes some suggestions for alternate color combinations."

This is so cute. Baby will enjoy watching the pinwheels. Have been they designed to move and turn? I'm sure baby will enjoy more watching those wheels turn with the wind. Color contrast is perfect.

This Pinwheel Crochet Blanket Pattern has an amazing amount of detail in it! I have to confess I don't think I've ever seen pinwheels in crochet before but there was no doubt as to what they were when I first saw them! The blue and yellow combination was soooo fresh and soothing! It was great that the artist added patterns for a coordinated cardigan, booties and a hat!

"Fan"tastic! - Get it!!! Sorry. I think this is a beautiful. The pinwheels make me think of a fan. I love most of all the colors selected to make this blanket and the designer as been so nice to provide alternative color selections. Thanks!

Often times I will see a pattern that is designed for a baby blanket and like it so much that I want to increase the size to either a throw or a full-size blanket. This is one of those projects I would like to make to adult use. I like everything about this, the color, the design and I know with some changes, I can make this work for me.
