Magic Rainbow Crochet Blanket Pattern

You can't miss this magic carpet ride to a whole new world of crochet baby blankets.  The Magic Rainbow Crochet Blanket Pattern bursts with colorful floral motif squares to make you feel as though you're snuggling in a soft bouquet of flowers. The woven appearance of the yarn's "chainette" construction lets your baby (or you) embrace a fun carpet vibe without the rough texture. The individual squares can be crocheted all at once or as you go. This is a great project to work on while you await the arrival of your little one, or you can add to it and keep it for yourself!

This is an amazing granny square baby blanket. I love the rainbow effect, and think it would be perfect for any new baby, boy or girl! I think joining the squares with a completely different color really makes the colors of the squares pop. What do you think it would look like if you used black for the joining color? I think that would look amazing!

This is gorgeous. The mini mandala square is absolutely perfect and the border pulls it all together. I cant wait to try this pattern. The colors are so bright and cheerful. Love it. Once again, a spectacular pattern from a truly talented lady.

This brightly colored and richly textured baby blanket is just perfect for Tummy Time. The squares are not hard to work up, but given the complex color combinations, you will want to print this pattern off before starting (sorry, no .pdf download). There are plenty of photos to guide the crafter, as well as links to video tutorials for the square and seamless joining.

This blanket has been circulating since 2014 when the designer first put it on her blog. I must be a very good pattern to have stayed in circulation for so many years. Not all projects have the staying power like this one. The colors are bright and cheerful and the tutorial is excellent.

This blanket pattern is appropriate to make for use in picnics and outings. It is so much fun to make the squares as you change colors many times over. I would like to use this Magic Rainbow Crochet Blanket as a mat to spread in a park or on the beach. The vibrant colors used will add to the festive atmosphere of the occasion and will also boost the mood of those around it. This project can be done in other color combos, probably in earth colors, in solid colors or whatever you fancy.

So happy to finally have a pattern made with squares that can be connected together as you work instead of them all having to be sewed at the end of the project. Sewing squares together is such a tedious job and is the longest part. All of the colors in the magic rainbow blanket pattern are beautiful. Great job.
