Is it just me or am I finding more and more baby blanket patterns that are not your typical baby colors? This one is truly artistically beautiful. This item can certainly follow the young one from the cradle to the toddler bed if made large enough. Any self respecting toddler would still love to sleep under this and not feel like a baby at all.

The transition between colors is flawless. I can only hope that my project will turn out as lovely as this one. The chunky yarn will make this a great play mat when the baby is a little older and even an item to use in the car as they get older just to keep the blanket in play. Great design.
